Lamiaceae (or Labiatae) is the mint family and are widely used culinary herbs, such as basil, mint, rosemary, sage, savory, marjoram, oregano, hyssop, thyme, lavender, and perilla. The teak tree is part of this family, as are some vines, but the family comprises mostly of small plants.
